Today, Maharashtra is sad. Ratan Tata, he passed away, and people are very sad. His body is at the NCPA in Mumbai. Later, we will have his last goodbye in Worli. Many people are saying nice things about him all over India and the world.

Ratan Tata was a big boss of Tata Sons. He got many awards, including the Padma Vibhushan, which is very important in India. He died at 86 years old in Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. He was very sick and getting care. Just two days ago, he told everyone he was getting checked because he was old and had some health problems.

The government in Maharashtra said today is a day for mourning. The Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that the flag will be half down on October 10. Tata’s body is open for people to say goodbye from 10 in the morning till 4 in the evening. Amit Shah, he will come to the last rites later.

Tata joined the Tata group a long time ago, in 1961. He worked really hard. He took over as chairman in 1991 after JRD Tata. He helped the Tata Group grow a lot. They bought many companies like Tetley, Jaguar Land Rover, and Corus to make Tata big around the world.

Tata died Yesterday , and people are really sad. Many famous people like Sharad Pawar and Kumar Mangalam Birla came to say goodbye. His employees came too, all wanting to pay their respects.

Many people are sharing their sadness. JD(S) leader Kumaraswamy said he was really sad about Ratan Tata’s passing. He wrote on X, “I’m really sad. He helped many people and did many good things.”

Tata’s body is at NCPA Lawns, a special place. HD Deve Gowda, a former Prime Minister, said Tata was a nice person. He remembered working with him when he was Chief Minister.

Karnataka’s Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah, shared his grief too. He said Tata did a lot for India and helped many people. He left a big heart and will always be remembered.

Bill Gates also talked about Tata. He said Tata was a leader who cared a lot about people. Gates felt lucky to have met him many times. He said Tata’s work changed many lives.

BJP MP Ravi Kishan told news reporters, “Tata gave everything to India. He helped many people. We must learn from him.”

Saurabh Bharadwaj, a Delhi Minister, also expressed sadness. He said there are not many business people like Tata who are respected by everyone.

Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, will be at Tata’s funeral. He wrote on X how sad he was. He said Tata always helped the country and its people. He will be remembered in our hearts forever.
